Experience

Ben practises primarily in employment, industrial and occupational health and safety law. He also accepts briefs in a broad range of commercial, public law and discrimination matters.

Before coming to the Bar, Ben practised as an Associate at Holding Redlich. He worked predominantly in the workplace relations and safety team. He advised employers, employees and industrial organisations on contracts, enterprise agreements, industrial disputes, unfair dismissal, general protections, workplace investigations, OHS law, discrimination, restraints of trade and disputes over confidential information. He has experience representing clients in a variety of industries.

Ben spent a year practising in-house at KDR Victoria Pty Ltd (trading as Yarra Trams) and accepts briefs directly from in-house counsel.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts from Monash University.

Ben is reading with Jack Tracey S.C. His senior mentor is Jonathan Kirkwood S.C.
