Experience
Erin is an experienced advocate, practising in civil and common law, and appearing in all courts and tribunals.
Erin is regularly briefed to advise and appear in complex institutional liability matters that involve schools, religious entities, foster care agencies, and government departments. Her practice in common law also covers a wide range of matters related to personal injury, medical negligence, workers compensation, and TAC.
Erin also has extensive experience in Royal Commission and inquiry work including as Counsel Assisting the:
- Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety (2019–2020)
- Review of the Agent Model into the Administration and Management of Complex Claims (2020–2021).
Erin is also an accredited Advocacy Instructor and has taught advocacy as a Sessional Teaching Associate with Monash University, and as an Advocacy Instructor at the Legal Training Institute in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
